More about Liane...
Liane grew up in the Black Forest region of Germany. As the youngest of seven children, she was determined to make her mark on the world, and she has. Liane knew at a very young age that her future would be surrounded by horses.
She trained for many years in Germany to earn the prestigous title of Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin. Although there is no good English translation, Liane's academic studies and apprenticeships in Germany were as rigourous as earning a Ph.D. here in the U.S.
Once Liane had completed her studies, she was hired by a professional Eventer to train his horses for competion.
Highly motivated to advance her career, Liane was recruited by the owners of a large U.S. breeding farm to manage their breeding program.
Ironically, it was in the U.S. where Liane's interest in Classical Dressage was piqued by Erik Herbermann who followed the lead of the finest German school masters. Liane challenged herself again by moving to Maryland to train with Erik, a reputable classical dessage instructor and author in his own right. A Horseman's Notes and Dressage Formula are two of his most popular books.
Liane continues to train with Erik Herbermann while she embraces her love for horses, classical horsemanship and all of its challenges and essences. She demonstrates the highest standards in horsemanship, horse management, and is dedicated to following the guidelines, standards, and goals of classical horsemanship.
